I started being interested in it being just a small child and I stiil prefer this way of active leasure. I also like playing different team-games like valley-ball and football. After leaving secondary school I entered the Technical college of cooking where I could get professional advice and improve skills on cooking – one of my hobbies. I chose the International Cuisine specialization. This was the top Technical coolege of cooking located in the capital of the Republic of Belarus. I was very eaper to learn a lot, but experience was indispensable in such profession. So, after three mounth of studies in the college I had already started working ( preparation and service during banquets and wedding parties). I haven’t stopped my educational process after Graduating from the technical college. The exam-sessions last one month and are held on January and June only.This allowed me to leave for Poland and after an intensive course of Polish language in the 1997 I have got my first experience as a waiter. My good knowledge of international cuisine together with high level of polish language allowed me to find an atractive job in the very center of the Polish capital’s Old Town. I have know a lot of interesting people, learnt to deal with different customers. I was a non-resident worker what meant a lot of legal difficulties with finding my job. My high skills and strong desire helped me to get employed. Iam very greatful for the emloyers who agreed to go through the complicated procedures of hiring forign citizen. Not long ago I have met a very interesting client of the restaurant where I used to work. This was a girl from Lithuania who has just returned from the cruise.She told me about Her great experience as a waitress on the ship. She also had a possibility to attend the bartender courses there and later to practice on this position. Her stories were so encouraging that i desided also to raise my skills on the board of the cruise liner. The position of the dining room waiter / bartender would allow to make my dreams come true. As among my interests are traveling and knowing new cultures and traditions, this would be an amazing possibility fir this. I like to chenge my surroundings and facing new challengies, what i am sure is also a part of life on a cruise ship. This would be also the best course for perfection of my English. Ihave left my parents’ home quite early ( being only 17 ) and managed from that moment on my own. This life experience together with living abroad taught me to be resistent on stress. I meet my problems with a smile on my face. I one my mother a lot in my life, so I want not only pay for my studies, but alsso to sponsor her dream-travel to Italy that she cannot afford herself. I heve still three years of my studies to go.
